Job summary

St Ann's OSHC in Queensland is seeking a Coordinator to lead our before/after school and vacation care services, supporting up to 104 children daily. You will guide a team of educators, plan play-based programs, and foster strong relationships with children, families and the school community.

The role requires a Diploma in Children Services, appropriate checks and trainings, and a commitment to safety, inclusion and regulatory compliance within Catholic Early EdCare’s standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid/ CPR.
• Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
• Previous childcare service management experience.
• Child Protection training is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation ofBefore School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs

Requirements of the Role:

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
• Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
• Previous childcare service management experience.
• Child Protection training is required for this role.
• Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
