Job summary

Children First Gympie is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our growing team, leading a classroom and shaping early learning experiences in a child-safe environment.

You will foster positive relationships with children and families, ensure EYLF/NQF compliance, and mentor peers while delivering engaging, inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services (or studying towards) as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Blue Card and approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
• Prior experience leading a classroom and writing educational programs.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
• Ensure health, safety and centre policies, licensing, legislation & regulations.
• Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
