Job summary

Children First Early Education in Keperra, QLD is hiring an experienced Lead Educator to guide our room to success. This permanent part-time role works Monday to Friday with up to 37.5 hours per week.

You will create an inclusive, safe learning environment, build strong relationships with children and families, and ensure all health, safety and centre policies meet licensing requirements. You will lead and mentor peers and contribute to program planning and team development.

Qualifications

• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.

A little about you:

• A Diploma qualification (or studying towards) in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Blue Card, approved First Aid, National Child Safety (Geccko) Training, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
• Prior experience and confidence in leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs.
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers.
