Job summary

Edge Early Learning is seeking a Lead Educator on a part-time basis at our Pimpama centre. You will mentor peers, deliver EYLF-aligned programs, and foster strong relationships with children and families.

Join a supportive team with opportunities for professional development and career growth. Availability for opening/closing shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent) at Children’s Services Employee Level 4+ or higher.
• Graduate Diploma or Master of Teaching with required long day care experience.
• Experience leading a room in a long day care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent at Children’s Services Employee Level 4+)
  OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with the required long day care experience

Experience (within a long day care setting)

• Diploma holders: minimum 2 years' Lead Educator experience.
• Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching: 3–4 years' Educator experience or 2+ years' Lead Educator experience in Australian long day care.
• Experience leading a room in a long day care setting
• Confidence mentoring other educators
• Strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF
• Passion for creating engaging learning environments

Compliance Documentation

• Working with Children Check, mandatory
• National Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
• RRHAN Fundamentals & Masterclass (SA where applicable)
• ACT Child Abuse and Neglect Training (where applicable)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
