Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education in Brisbane is seeking a Room Leader to drive high-quality educational practice, mentor staff, and build strong relationships with families. You will shape learning experiences around each child’s strengths and interests, while upholding safety and quality standards.

You’ll be supported to grow your practice and leadership through professional development, experienced leaders and innovative programs that bring Thrive and To BE Me to life in daily work.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or approved equivalent.
• Experience leading a room and mentoring educators.
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
• Collaborative, caring and professional leadership.
• Current Working with Children Check and relevant safety training or willingness to obtain.

About You

You’re a passionate early childhood professional who brings:

• A completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education or approved equivalent
• Experience leading a room, mentoring educators or supporting team practice
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• A collaborative, caring and professional approach to leadership
• A current Working with Children Check, child protection training and relevant first aid qualifications, or willingness to obtain them
