Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience

About the role

The Lead Digital Business Partner leads a team of Digital Business Partners (DBPs) to deliver strategic digital solutions that align with Council’s corporate objectives. The role focuses on building strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, driving digital transformation across the organisation, and ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business value. It provides direction and mentorship to the DBP team, promotes innovation, and ensures effective planning and change management for major transformation projects.

Remuneration

$142,462.32 - $155,168.00 p.a. + 12% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• Proven experience in leading digital strategy and transformation initiatives at an organisational level with building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and owning the process for effective business engagement
• Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor and develop a high-performing team with project management and delivery of technology or digital initiatives with extensive understanding of digital tools, emerging technologies and their application for business improvement and commitment to diversity, equal employment opportunity, work health and safety, and ethical practices
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted partnerships with analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High-level business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and documentation with proficiency in process mapping and analysis techniques and use of relevant tools
