Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is seeking a Workshop Leading Hand in Sydney to lead technicians across New Build and Retail Repair work. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction while staying hands-on in a busy workshop.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics, Mobile Plant, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, or similar.
• Experience maintaining and repairing construction, earthmoving, mining, or heavy equipment is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, team-focused approach.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate daily workshop activities to maximise productivity and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and support technicians to achieve quality and performance targets.
• Monitor workflow and job progress to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Provide technical guidance and support across New Build and Retail Repair work.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on machine performance and repairs.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across workshop operations.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality control, and customer service.
