Job summary

The role focuses on translating complex financial problems into scalable AI solutions, while mentoring junior data scientists and ensuring governance and safety in production environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building ML models and AI solutions in a commercial setting.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL are required.
• Experience leading AI projects and mentoring data scientists is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI initiatives from problem definition to production deployment.
• Translate commercial and markets problems into scalable ML/AI solutions.
• Establish modelling, validation, governance and monitoring practices for risk/compliance.
• Partner with engineering, risk, governance and external tech partners to deliver safe outcomes.
• Coach and develop junior data scientists and graduates.
