Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service seeks a Manager Data & AI Platform Engineering in Sydney to lead the platform target state architecture and roadmap. You'll head a small team to uplift security, identity, deployment and agent orchestration across our Azure/Snowflake data platform, with strong autonomy and strategic impact.

You will drive DevSecOps practices, oversee data pipelines and agentic workflows, and collaborate across the Directorate to deliver innovative analytics and AI capabilities

Qualifications

• Design and implement initiatives to improve security, governance and observability of an Azure and Snowflake based data platform.
• Oversee DevSecOps pipelines for data pipelines, ML models and web applications.
• Oversee design and implementation of data pipelines and ingestion processes.
• Design agentic workflows for data quality, BAU analytics and automation tasks.
• Monitor, deploy and manage context for AI agents across the Directorate.
