Job summary

LTM in Sydney, Australia, seeks an experienced Data Architect / Principal Data Engineer to act as the technical second-in-command to the Data Engineering Lead, owning delivery, architecture, stakeholder engagement and technical leadership.

You will guide enterprise-scale data platforms, partnerships with business and technical teams, and ensure governance, security, and quality across data initiatives, analytics, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end data initiatives from requirements to business validation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and architectural leadership.
• Experience with data warehousing, Lakehouse architectures, data modelling, integration patterns, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data initiatives from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing and business validation.
• Coordinate and provide technical direction to a small team of data engineers and manage priorities.
• Architect and govern enterprise-scale data platforms, integrations, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews, migration planning, and solution assurance activities.
