Job summary

Prime Concrete Developments is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to drive efficiency and quality in concrete sleeper production. You will lead from the front, oversee a busy production area, and support the Production Manager with day-to-day management and safety compliance.

The role requires forklift competence, production management experience, and a strong focus on quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift license and hands-on forklift competency.
• Experience in production management within a manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Professional attitude, reliability and accountability.

• Able to adapt to changing environment and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and wear protective gear.
• Inspect end products for quality according to company standards.
• Record daily sleepers data to track production performance.
• Supervise and train production team members.
• Meet daily KPIs and contribute to meeting targets.
• Maintain clean and organized storage and production areas.
• Lead from the front on the production floor.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections on machinery and forklifts.
• Provide daily reports to Production Managers.
• Maintain moulds, tools, and equipment.
