Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC in Melbourne is seeking a dynamic leader to manage the Complex Interventions service within Forensic Intervention Services. The role drives evidence-based interventions, oversees a skilled multidisciplinary team, and partners with Corrections Victoria and the wider justice sector.

The successful candidate will provide strategic advice on offender rehabilitation, ensure service targets are met, and travel across Victoria as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing and monitoring complex frontline services.
• Ability to lead organisational change and build a culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation.
• Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational, clinical and business service aspects of the Complex Interventions service area.
• Manage, support and develop a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and support staff.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure services align with best-practice standards and evidence-based approaches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Corrections Victoria and the justice sector.
• Provide expert strategic advice on offender rehabilitation, forensic interventions and emerging service delivery issues.
• Oversee performance, service targets, staffing and resource management to achieve organisational outcomes.
