Job summary

Aurecon Group in Brisbane seeks an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to drive major Industrial, Mining & Resources projects. You will lead civil studies and designs, coordinate geotechnical inputs and interfaces, and support from concept through detailed design and delivery.

With a practical mindset, you will balance technical quality, constructability and client outcomes while building trusted relationships with asset clients and contributing to team growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• RPEQ certification or eligible to obtain RPEQ.
• Experience delivering civil design for mining, industrial or major infra projects.
• Strong coordination across geotechnical inputs and interfaces.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil studies and designs in the Industrial Civil space, including bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements, underground services.
• Coordinate geotechnical inputs and civil interfaces to create constructable design solutions.
• Support projects from concept through detailed design, construction support and sustainment works.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver well-considered outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with private asset clients by translating technical detail into clear, practical advice.
• Contribute to design reviews, quality outcomes and the continued growth of civil capability within the team.
