Job summary

Aurecon Group in Brisbane seeks a Lead Civil Engineer to head the civil design and delivery of land infrastructure projects across energy, airports, subdivisions, water programs, rail and highways. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, shape solutions for clients and communities, and drive outcomes with a focus on quality and timeliness.

You will mentor engineers and collaborate across disciplines, building strong client relationships and contributing to bid and project management.

Qualifications

A relevant engineering degree and at least seven years’ post‑graduate experience in civil engineering.
RPEQ accreditation, or CPEng accreditation with progress towards RPEQ.
Experience leading the civil design and delivery of energy or infrastructure projects and achieving impactful outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership and influencing capability.
Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to see the big picture, challenge assumptions and bring diverse thinking.

Responsibilities

Lead civil design and delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
Work across disciplines, test ideas and find better solutions.
Lead projects from bid through delivery, maintaining quality, program and budget.
Provide civil design leadership and collaborate with other disciplines.
Build trusted client relationships and grow professional network.
Coach and mentor engineers, designers and drafters.
Contribute to team leadership, project and bid management.
