Tetra Tech Coffey Pty seeks an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to lead our Civil team in Western Australia. The role spans mining, energy, utilities, industrial, and infrastructure projects, with emphasis on technical excellence and people leadership.

You will steer technical governance, mentor the team, engage clients, and drive growth through market-facing initiatives while delivering from concept through construction. This is a senior role with broad impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in civil engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and/or project management.
• Strong technical capability across civil design disciplines (Earthworks, Drainage & Stormwater, Roads & Pavements, Utilities).
• Experience across mining, energy, utilities, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement with a market-facing mindset.
• Strategic outlook balancing technical detail with big-picture thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for the Civil Engineering discipline.
• Lead, mentor and increase the capacity of the Civil team.
• Ensure project delivery excellence from concept to construction.
• Support and lead market-facing activities, including client engagement, bids and business development.
• Contribute to strategic planning and growth of the civil engineering offering.
• Ensure quality, safety and compliance across all civil deliverables.
