Job summary

Manna NT Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Chef and Cook to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will lead staff, ensure food quality, and manage stock while adhering to OH&S and hygiene standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and flexible availability for varied shifts, including weekends. Training will be provided to maintain our high service standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven kitchen experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Qualifications in commercial cookery.
• Cert IV or higher.
• Flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all dishes to a high standard.
• Update menu as needed.
• Follow food preparation processes and hygiene rules.
• Supervise kitchen staff and maintain OH&S standards.
• Create weekly rosters and manage stock levels.
• Offer dishes beyond the regular menu to meet dietary needs.
• Train kitchen staff and oversee inventory control.
