Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Bridge Engineer/Team Leader to join our Perth Transport Delivery team, delivering major bridge and structural projects for MRWA and PTA. You will lead a growing team, shape technical direction, and coordinate across stakeholders to meet program objectives.

You will apply advanced bridge design knowledge, mentor junior engineers, develop proposals, support business development, and ensure compliance with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Civil/Structural engineering degree and ~10 years in infrastructure delivery.
• CPEng credential demonstrated.
• Experience with SPACEGASS, STRAND7 and MIDAS for structural analysis.
• Familiarity with WA manuals, Austroads and AS5100 standards.
• Experience on MRWA/PTA or similar major projects.

Responsibilities

• Design of complex projects with coordination and documentation.
• Support marketing and proposals for potential projects and client interviews.
• Develop new bridge and civil structures standards and specs.
• Plan and coordinate engineering assignments across projects.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist and/or lead contract negotiations.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
