Job summary

Equans Solar and Storage is seeking a Bid Engineer in Sydney, Australia to manage bid preparation and coordinate internal and external stakeholders for winning bids. The role entails leading cross-disciplinary bid teams, developing execution plans, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals across EPC, renewable energy, and grid connection projects.

You will work closely with the Business Development Director and Project Managers to build robust commercial and technical responses,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in EPC, renewable energy, power generation, transmission or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in bidding, tendering, estimating, project development, or commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary bid teams across engineering, procurement, commercial, legal, HSE and project delivery.
• Develop bid execution plans, schedules, responsibilities and submission milestones.
• Coordinate development of EPC technical solutions and ensure compliance with client specs and grid requirements.
• Lead preparation of EPC cost estimates and pricing models and coordinate supplier quotations.
• Review contracts and coordinate risk and commercial reviews and present risk profiles to management.
