Job summary

Equans Solar and Storage in Australia seeks an Australian-qualified Construction Lawyer with 3–5 years PAE to support major construction and energy projects in Sydney. You will draft, review and negotiate EPC and related agreements, advise on risk and compliance, and collaborate with commercial and project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and admitted practitioner in Australia with current practising certificate.
3–5 years post-admission experience in construction, infrastructure, energy projects.
Strong drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and commercial contracts.
Solid knowledge of Australian construction and commercial law.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate EPC, consultancy, subcontracts, NDAs and framework agreements.
Advise on contractual obligations, risk allocation and commercial implications.
Support tender and bid teams to identify and manage legal risks.
Provide timely legal advice during project execution and variations.
Assist in dispute resolution, including potential external counsel collaboration.
