Job summary

Equans Solar and Storage, a Bouygues subsidiary, is seeking an Australian-qualified Construction Lawyer to support major construction, infrastructure, energy and engineering projects in Sydney. You will advise on contracts, risk, and dispute resolution, partnering with commercial, procurement and project teams.

The role offers a permanent full-time position, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic, project-driven environment within a leading solar energy company.

Qualifications

• Australian-qualified construction lawyer with 3–5 years post‑admission experience (PAE).
• Experience on construction, infrastructure, energy or engineering projects.
• Strong drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and commercial contracts.
• Sound knowledge of Australian construction and commercial law.
• Ability to advise on project delivery, risk mitigation and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate construction and commercial agreements (EPC, subcontracts, consulting, NDAs, etc.).
• Provide practical legal advice to project teams during execution and variations.
• Assist in claims, disputes and enforcement with external counsel when needed.
• Support governance, compliance, and corporate matters and develop templates/policies.
