Job summary

Southport Sharks on the Gold Coast is seeking experienced Lead Bartenders to work across our venues, including the vibrant Kaktus Mexican restaurant and our relaxed Lounge Bar. This is a hands on role for someone who knows how to run a smooth service, create quality cocktails and bring energy to the team.

You’ll bring strong bar experience, confidence preparing cocktails, great customer service, and the ability to lead and support the team during busy services.

Qualifications

• Minimum strong bar experience required.
• Confidence in preparing cocktails.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to lead and support the team during busy services.
• Reliable weekend and evening availability.
• TAB experience is a bonus but not essential.

The club has an exciting and interesting local history dating back to when it was founded in 1961. Participating in the Gold Coast Australian Football League and playing its home games at Owen Park, it quickly built up a reputation of a fiercely competitive and successful club.

Since relocating to Fankhauser Reserve in 1988 and the introduction of gaming machines in 1992, Southport Sharks has experienced rapid growth in membership numbers.
