Woods & Co Recruitment is partnering with a well-established hospitality group in Melbourne to hire an Assistant Restaurant Manager. You will lead daily venue operations, mentor a high-performing team and drive exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role.
Passion for hospitality, food and beverage.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead a team.
Hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of rostering, labour costs and venue operations.

Responsibilities

Lead daily venue operations with the support of a Restaurant Manager.
Champion service excellence, operational consistency and an energetic atmosphere.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team.
Oversee financial performance, budgets and cost control.
Collaborate with culinary, beverage and events teams to elevate guest experiences.
Support strategic planning, events execution and long-term venue growth.
Maintain standards of hospitality, safety, cleanliness and guest engagement.
