Job summary

City of Joondalup is recruiting a Team Leader Aquatic & Facility Operations to oversee Craigie Leisure Centre’s aquatic services, maintenance, and customer experience. The role leads staff, coordinates contractors, and drives safety and compliance across facilities to deliver exceptional public services.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, procurement, and service improvements in a large multi‑purpose leisure centre, ensuring high standards and community value.

Qualifications

• Strong capability in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic plans and operational projects aligned with organisational goals within aquatic and facility operations.
• Extensive experience in budgeting and financial administration including procurement.
• Proven ability to build relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of WHS, hazardous materials, and codes relevant to aquatic/leisure facilities.
