City of Ryde invites applications for a Senior Coordinator Operations at Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre. The role directs daily centre operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and exceptional customer experiences while leading the operations team and managing aquatic plant systems.

You'll drive compliance, safety initiatives, and team development, supported by a strong focus on service excellence and stakeholder engagement in a busy municipal aquatic facility.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in operational leadership within aquatic or leisure facilities.
• Experience in risk management and safety compliance.
• Experience in budget planning, financial reporting and revenue opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Computer literacy with POS/CRM or similar systems.
• Tertiary qualifications in Aquatics, Sport & Recreation, Health, Fitness, Hospitality or related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage day-to-day centre operations for safe, efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate aquatic operations in line with GSPO requirements.
• Oversee maintenance of plant, equipment, buildings and assets.
• Promote a strong safety culture through risk management and incident investigations.
• Develop and mentor operational staff and Duty Managers; support recruitment and performance management.
• Champion exceptional customer service and respond to enquiries and issues.
• Contribute to budget planning, cost efficiencies and potential revenue growth.
• Support facility projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
