Job summary

Transcend Managed Services in Victoria is seeking an experienced Laser Cutter - Setter / Operator for a large engineering shop in South Kingsville. You will work with machine operators, fitters and welders to produce a quality finished product.

You will set up, maintain and operate Yawei 3-kilowatt flatbed and a 3-kilowatt laser pipe cutting machine to cut tubed products. Reading and interpreting plans and drawings, with Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be highly experienced in the use of laser cutting machines.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Able to follow safety and OH&S procedures.
• Available Monday–Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Work with machine operators, fitters and welders to create a quality finished product.
