Talent Focus is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join a well-established sheet metal fabrication business in Melbourne. This permanent full-time role involves operating CNC laser cutting machines, interpreting engineering drawings, and performing equipment maintenance.

The successful candidate will work the afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a modern workshop with advanced machinery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines, fibre laser experience highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings and production schedules.
• Perform set-ups, adjustments, and routine maintenance on laser equipment.
