Job summary

Westcon Landscaping is seeking experienced Labourers to join our construction crews on large residential sub-division projects on the Central Coast. You’ll support skilled tradespeople with general labouring tasks and assist with retaining wall installations.

Applicants should have 1–2 years in civil or landscape construction, a White Card, a current driver’s licence, and the fitness to work outdoors. A team-focused mindset and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic site equipment and hand tools safely.
• Follow site safety procedures and report issues promptly.

Westcon Landscaping is a specialist retaining‑wall contractor working on large‑scale residential sub‑division projects. We build Concrete Sleeper, Block and Sandstone retaining walls across the Central Coast.

The role

We are seeking experienced Labourers to join our construction crews. You’ll support skilled tradespeople on site undertaking general labouring tasks, assisting with the installation of retaining walls, using hand and power tools, and maintaining a safe and tidy work area.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting excavator operators with footing excavation and auger work
• Footing preparation, compaction and drainage installation
• Hands‑on labouring across all stages of retaining wall construction
• Prepare and clean work areas, move materials, and set out walls
• Operate basic site equipment and hand tools safely
• Follow site safety procedures
• Communicate with Site Supervisors and report issues promptly

About you (must have)

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in civil or landscape construction (retaining wall experience preferred)
• White Card
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Team player with a strong work ethic
