Job summary

Palm Lake Group is seeking a reliable Labourer to join the Forster Lakes construction team for the Forster Aged Care development site. This Full‑time Fixed Term (2 years) position runs 38 hours per week, 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, supporting tradespeople and the build of premium lifestyle homes and community facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and telehandler experience. A positive attitude and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• White Card (Construction Induction) – essential.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transport – essential.
• Licensed and experienced in operating a telehandler / Manitou – essential.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality outcomes.
• Experience in construction or labouring – preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties.
• Performing site clean-up, material handling, and general labour tasks.
• Loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently.
• Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard-free worksite.
• Following safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
• Supporting construction and display home preparation as required.
• Other duties as directed by site supervisors or project managers.
