Job summary

Palm Lake Group is seeking a reliable Labourer for our Forster Lakes site as we begin work on a new Aged Care development. This Full-time Fixed Term (2 years) position runs 38 hours per week, from 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, supporting tradespeople and site supervisors to build premium lifestyle homes and community facilities.

You will hold a White Card, a valid driver's licence, and experience in construction or labouring would be preferred.

Qualifications

• White Card (Construction Induction) – essential.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport – essential.
• Licence to operate a telehandler / Manitou – essential.
• Experience in construction or labouring preferred.
• Strong work ethic, ability to follow directions, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties.
• Performing site clean up, material handling, and general labour tasks.
• Loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently.
• Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard free worksite.
• Following safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
• Supporting construction and display home preparation as required.
• Other duties as directed by site supervisors or project managers.
