Workfast is seeking an experienced Water Cart / HR Sweeper Operator for the Recycling and Waste Management Team in New Chum, QLD. You will operate HR sweepers and water carts, ensuring safe, efficient site operations.

Key requirements include current HR Australian Driver's Licence, relevant RII tickets, pre-start checks, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Shift times are 6:00am to 4:00pm, with penalties and allowances available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating HR sweepers / water carts in waste or related environments.
• Completion of required pre-start checks and safe operating procedures.
• Current RII tickets and a valid HR Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate HR Sweepers / Water Carts safely and efficiently within a site.
• Transport waste, recyclables, and materials across the facility.
• Work around stockpiles and machinery, following safety rules.
• Assist with loading, dumping and moving materials to meet targets.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site personnel for smooth operations.
• Adhere to site policies and safety regulations.
• Contribute to additional site duties as required.

We are actively seeking a dedicated Moxy Operator to join our Recycling and Waste Management team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HR Sweepers / Water Carts safely and efficiently within a recycling and waste management environment.
• Transport waste, recyclable materials, and site materials across the facility.
• Work around stockpiles and active machinery while maintaining safe operating procedures.
• Assist with loading, dumping, and moving materials to maintain production targets.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
• Work closely with supervisors and site personnel to ensure smooth site operations.
• Follow all relevant site policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist with additional site duties when required.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Previous experience operating HR Sweepers / Water Carts in waste, recycling, quarry, civil, or similar environments.
• experience we pre starting checks on Mobile plant equipment
• Current RII tickets
• Valid HR Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights.
• Must have reliable transport.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
