Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd invites motivated individuals to join our world-class laboratory as Trainees for a 2-year contract, with a potential full-time role at the end. You will gain hands-on experience and earn a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills to launch your career.

Responsibilities include sample collection, preparation, routine analysis, data recording, calibration, and maintaining a safe, organized lab environment. Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.

Qualifications

• Hold a year 12 certificate.
• Willingness to learn.
• Interest in pursuing a career in a laboratory environment.

• Prepare laboratory standards and reagents.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Perform housekeeping and routine laboratory equipment maintenance.
• Maintain sample traceability and ensure accurate laboratory records.
• Display care in the use of company instrumentation, tools, and property.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and efficient laboratory environment.
