Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a Storeperson to join the Parts Team in Emerald. This permanent, full-time role runs Monday to Friday and offers a supportive, growth-oriented environment with CAT equipment exposure and a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include accurate picking, packing, storing and dispatching materials, contributing to stocktakes, and delivering a high standard of customer service while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, inventory control, freight, logistics or parts operations.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Hose technician qualifications (preferred).
• Strong communication skills with a customer focus.
• Tech-savvy with laptops/tablets and parts systems.

Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint a Storeperson to join the Hastings Deering Parts Team in Emerald. This is a Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday role.

• Accurately and efficiently pick, pack, store and dispatch materials within the warehouse to meet contractual and business requirements.
• Promote success within the warehouse function by participating in stocktakes, maintenance and improvement activities.
• Proactively contribute to the provision of quality within the department by personally adhering to company quality policies and systems.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service aligned with Hastings Deering's commitment to excellence.
• Strictly adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

About you

• Current Forklift License (preferred, but not essential).
• Previous experience in warehousing, inventory control, freight, logistics or parts operations will be highly regarded.
• Hose Technician qualifications and/or relevant work experience (preferred, but not essential).
• Strong communicator with excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus.
• Tech Savvy with demonstrated experience using laptops, tablets, parts systems and general technology.
• Well organised with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• A team player who can work collaboratively while also working independently when required.
