Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd in Rocky is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our workshop team on a permanent, Monday–Friday basis. You will perform maintenance and repairs to keep customer machinery at peak performance, following the latest service procedures and prioritising safety.

The role offers career development within a CAT Centre of Excellence and exposure to cutting‑edge CAT technology.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter with relevant experience.
• Experience in workshop settings or similar roles.
• Ability to read and apply service information and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience that counts – previous experience working in the industry, a workshop environment or in a similar Trade Assistant role.
• Strong communicator – excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus.
