Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes lab team seeks a part-time analyst to support sample preparation and analysis, including AAS and XRF testing. Reporting to the Laboratory Shift Supervisor, you will work within established procedures to maintain safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

This roster features 3 days on / 11 days off, 4 nights on / 13 days off, 4 days on / 11 days off, or 3 nights on / 7 days off with 12‑hour shifts, emphasizing work–life balance.

Qualificações

• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
• Experience in laboratory or mining environments is advantageous.
• Certificate III in Laboratory Skills is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out shift analysis tasks with accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare samples for analysis daily, including registration, splitting, crushing, pulverising and sizing.
• Perform AAS and XRF analyses safely and to required standards.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory procedures, quality systems and safety requirements.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work environment.
• Assist Laboratory Management Team with additional duties as needed.

About the Role

Reporting to the Laboratory Shift Supervisor, you’ll join a proactive and supportive team responsible for sample preparation and analysis, including AAS and XRF testing. You’ll work to established laboratory procedures while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.

This role operates on a part-time roster, offering excellent work–life balance. Working a 3 days on / 11 days off, 4 nights on / 13 days off, 4 days on / 11 days off, 3 nights on / 7 days off roster (12‑hour shifts).

Responsibilities include:

• carrying out shift analysis tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards;
• preparing samples for analysis each day, including registration, splitting, crushing, pulverising, and sizing in line with established procedures;
• performing AAS and XRF analyses safely, efficiently, and to required standards;
• ensuring full compliance with laboratory procedures, quality systems, and safety requirements;
• maintaining a clean, organised, and safe laboratory work environment; and
• assisting the Laboratory Management Team with additional duties as needed to support smooth laboratory operations.

About the Candidate:

• collaborative team player with strong communication skills, comfortable working within a shift ‑ based environment;
• passionate about safety and proactive in maintaining a clean and safe workplace;
• experienced in laboratory or mining environments (highly regarded but not essential);
• certificate III in Laboratory Skills (highly regarded but not essential); and
• confident with numbers and computer applications, with strong attention to detail.
