Job summary

Talison Lithium's Greenbushes Lithium Operation is seeking a Senior Production Leader to drive safe, efficient operations across crushing and processing plants. You will report to the Operational Superintendent and coordinate multi-plant activities to achieve production targets on an 8:6 roster with accommodation options.

The role requires a proven leadership track record in heavy industry, strong safety focus, and ability to liaise with maintenance and support teams to optimize plant

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety focus across all teams.
• Plan and direct production activities for plant shift supervisors.
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and plant start-ups with Maintenance.
• Coordinate crushing activities to ensure ore feed to processing plants.
• Ensure adherence to operating standards and procedures.
• Liaise with multiple support teams to optimize plant performance.

Full Time Position

Lithium plays a critical role in the transition to clean energy, and Talison Lithium is the world’s leading lithium minerals producer with the largest high-grade ore body in the world - join us and be a part of the transition.

About The Role

Reporting to the Operational Superintendent, this key leadership position is responsible for achieving and exceeding production targets by providing a safe, coordinated, and supportive focus to all teams. The successful applicant will work closely with support teams across multiple crushing and processing plants.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering an attractive 8:6 roster based in the beautiful Greenbushes region, with accommodation options available.

Responsibilities Include

• Maintaining a strong safety focus;
• Planning and directing production activities to the processing plant shift supervisors in line with production priorities;
• Liaising with the Maintenance Department in relation to plant shut down and maintenance requirements;
• Planning and coordinating plant shutdowns and start ups;
• Coordinating the equipment isolation required for maintenance and shutdowns;
• Coordinating the crushing activities to ensure required ore feed is maintained to processing plants; and
• Ensuring all operating standards and procedures are adhered to.

About The Candidate

• Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace;
• Experience in a similar role or industry related experience;
• Analytical, decision making and problem solving skills;
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
• Cert IV in Frontline Management is desirable and
• Hold a current Section 26 (S26) qualification under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
