Job summary

Talison Lithium Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Greenbushes Lithium Operation. The role focuses on safe, coordinated leadership to meet production targets across multiple plants, with a permanent full-time arrangement and an 8:6 roster, offering accommodation options.

Reporting to the Operational Superintendent, you will coordinate with support teams and plant supervisors to optimise throughput while maintaining safety and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Experience in a similar role or related industry.
• Analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Cert IV in Frontline Management is desirable.
• Hold a current Section 26 (S26) qualification under the WHS Act 2020 (WA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety focus.
• Plan and direct production activities to the processing plant shift supervisors in line with production priorities.
• Liaise with the Maintenance Department in relation to plant shut down and maintenance requirements.
• Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns and start ups.
• Coordinate the equipment isolation required for maintenance and shutdowns.
• Coordinate the crushing activities to ensure required ore feed is maintained to processing plants; and
• Ensure all operating standards and procedures are adhered to.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operational Superintendent, this key leadership position is responsible for achieving and exceeding production targets by providing a safe, coordinated, and supportive focus to all teams. The successful applicant will work closely with support teams across multiple crushing and processing plants.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering an attractive 8:6 roster based in the beautiful Greenbushes region, with accommodation options available.
