Job summary

ALS Environmental Division in Stafford, Queensland, is seeking a highly organised Sample Receipt Officer to be the first point of contact in our busy lab. You’ll be responsible for receiving, sorting, and registering samples, liaising with clients, and ensuring smooth sample distribution.

The role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication, with a customer-focused mindset. TAFE or university qualifications are a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Allocate batch numbers to samples.
• Notify Senior Chemists of urgent samples or anomalies.
• Organise dispatch and receipt of freight and samples.
• Prepare sample receipt forms and relevant paperwork.
• Maintain fridge/cool room storage and organise sample storage.
• Handle client inquiries via phone and email with professionalism.
