Job summary

ALS, a global leader in scientific testing, is seeking a SampleReceipt Officer for the Environmental Risk Services team in Yatala, Queensland. You will handle incoming and outgoing samples, sort and label deliveries, and ensure documentation meets testing requirements, while delivering accurate, timely service.

In this fast-paced role, you will coordinate freight pickups, liaise with internal and external clients, and uphold high safety and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive clients’ deliveries and confirm samples meet testing requirements.
• Process incoming sample deliveries into the laboratory including the sorting and labelling of samples.
• Read and understand client documentation.
• Organise and follow up of freight pick-ups for internal and interstate samples.
• Liaising with clients (internal and external) regarding sample submissions.
• Maintaining filing systems and documentation.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Maintaining an excellent standard of occupational health and safety.
