Job summary

ALS Life Sciences, based in Yatala, is seeking a Sample Receipt Officer to join our Environmental Risk Services team. The role focuses on receiving and sorting samples, verifying testing requirements, and coordinating freight for internal and interstate shipments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining safety and accuracy in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive clients' deliveries and confirm samples meet testing requirements.
• Process incoming sample deliveries into the laboratory including sorting and labeling.
• Read and understand client documentation.
• Organise and follow up of freight pick-ups for internal and interstate samples.
• Liaising with clients regarding sample submissions.
• Maintaining filing systems and documentation.
• Maintaining an excellent standard of occupational health and safety.
