Job summary

Omni Recruit is recruiting a Kitchen Supervisor for Penrith's newest venue set in a heritage church on Henry Street. You will lead the kitchen, run the line, and shape a proud kitchen team.

Responsibilities include managing prep, stock rotation, ordering and wastage, enforcing food safety and WHS, training new cooks, and collaborating with the Head Chef and front of house. A clear path to Assistant Kitchen Manager is available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen supervisor or senior cook in a busy kitchen.
• Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Full Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Leading kitchen shifts and running the line.
• Maintaining quality and consistency on every plate.
• Managing prep, stock rotation, ordering and wastage.
• Maintaining food safety, cleaning schedules and WHS.
• Training new cooks and building kitchen habits.
• Working closely with the Head Chef and front of house.
