Job summary

Troocoo Healthcare is seeking a reliable Cook or Assistant Cook to support an aged care facility in Quirindi with ongoing casual shifts. If you’re an experienced kitchen professional, you’ll join a friendly team delivering nutritious meals while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

You’ll prepare and cook meals per menus, assist with plating, maintain a clean kitchen, follow food safety and WHS procedures, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook, Assistant Cook or in a similar catering role.
• Food Handling Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Current Influenza Vaccination Record (2025/2026)
• Australian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available).
• A positive attitude, reliability and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in line with menus and dietary requirements.
