Job summary

Crown Resorts is seeking a full-time Stewarding Supervisor for Crown Sydney. You will lead a large stewarding team, coach staff, and ensure top standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance while supporting daily kitchen operations.

Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, you will work hands-on with the team, manage rostering, and adapt to 24/7 service demands to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in hospitality, hotel, stewarding or kitchen environments.
• Hands-on leader who operates with the team during busy service periods.
• Experience with rostering and workforce coordination.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, stewarding equipment, safety procedures and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP requirements.
• Strong communication skills to train, coach and motivate staff.
• Flexible and adaptable to support a 24/7 operation.
• Team-focused mindset with willingness to step in and cover breaks.

The Role

Crown Sydney is seeking a full-time Stewarding Supervisor to join our dynamic Stewarding team. Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, this is a highly hands‑on leadership role , where you’ll spend the majority of your time working alongside the team to support daily operations across our kitchens.

You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and compliance are maintained while supporting a large and diverse team of Stewards. From coaching team members and coordinating daily staffing requirements to assisting with cleaning operations, machinery and chemical management, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved in the operation and leading from the front.

About You

• Previous experience leading teams within a hospitality, hotel, stewarding or kitchen environment.
• A practical, hands‑on leader who is comfortable working alongside the team during busy service periods.
• Experience with rostering, workforce coordination and managing day‑to‑day operational requirements.
• Sound knowledge of cleaning chemicals, stewarding equipment, safety procedures and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP requirements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train, coach and motivate team members.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support a 24/7 operation and respond to changing business demands.
