Job summary

Crown Resorts Limited is seeking a full-time Stewarding Supervisor for Crown Sydney. You will lead a large stewarding team, ensuring top cleanliness, safety and hygiene standards while supporting daily kitchen operations.

The role is hands-on and requires coaching, rostering and active involvement across busy service periods. You will oversee cleaning operations, machinery and chemical management, and support staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in hospitality, hotel, stewarding or kitchen environments.
• Practical, hands-on leader comfortable during busy service periods.
• Knowledge of rostering and day-to-day staffing requirements.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, stewarding equipment, safety procedures and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP requirements.

The Role Crown Sydney

is seeking a full-time Stewarding Supervisor to join our dynamic Stewarding team. Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, this is a highly hands-on leadership role, where you'll spend the majority of your time working alongside the team to support daily operations across our kitchens.

You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and compliance are maintained while supporting a large and diverse team of Stewards. From coaching team members and coordinating daily staffing requirements to assisting with cleaning operations, machinery and chemical management, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved in the operation and leading from the front.

About You

Previous experience leading teams within a hospitality, hotel, stewarding or kitchen environment. A practical, hands-on leader who is comfortable working alongside the team during busy service periods. Experience with rostering, workforce coordination and managing day-to-day operational requirements. Sound knowledge of cleaning chemicals, stewarding equipment, safety procedures and hygiene standards. Understanding of food safety and HACCP requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to train, coach and motivate team members. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support a 24/7 operation and respond to changing business demands. A team-focused mindset with a willingness to step in, cover breaks and support the operation wherever required.
