Job summary

Fresh Catering in Sydney is seeking a Kitchen Steward to join the production kitchen in Redfern. You will perform washing, cleaning and maintenance tasks, reporting to the Chief Steward.

Weekday availability from 8.30am to 7pm is required, and the role is casual with ongoing shifts. The position offers a friendly work environment with lunch provided, central Sydney location access, and employee discounts across Fresh venues.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen environment with knowledge of food hygiene.
• A responsible person who shows initiative.
• Hard working, physically fit and reliable - able to lift 10-15kgs comfortably.
• In possession of a valid working visa, with availability to work weekdays

The Role - Kitchen Steward

The Kitchen Steward is responsible to perform basic kitchen duties as requested by the Chief Steward or Head Chef, including:

• General washing up and deep cleaning
• Cleaning of kitchen equipment and kitchen surroundings
• Available weekdays from 8.30am to 7pm
• Hourly pay rate: Mon-Fri at $33.85/ hour, plus super

This position is a casual role, with ongoing shifts.
