Job summary

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kitchen Stewarding team member at our Sydney Coogee Beach property. You will clean and maintain stores, equipment and uphold hygiene standards to support our Culinary and Restaurants & Bars teams.

In this full-time role, you will help ensure health, hygiene and food safety, while receiving and distributing goods. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in kitchenhand or stewarding environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 30 kilograms.
• Adherence to high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchens, cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery and stores clean and well-stocked.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and food handling rules.
• Operate dishwashers, cleaning chemicals and trolleys safely.
• Work as a team and communicate clearly.
• Plan and organise daily tasks for productivity.
• Support F&B and other departments as needed.
• Report hazards and contribute to eco-friendly practices.
