Challenger Services Group, a 5-star hotel in Sydney CBD, is seeking a Kitchen Steward to help keep a busy hotel kitchen clean and organized. You will support chefs and the wider team to deliver a great guest experience, with morning or afternoon shifts and flexible full-time or part-time options.

You’ll gain training in kitchen operations, food safety and HACCP, plus staff meals, retail discounts, and access to your pay through our wage app.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, kitchen hand or stewarding role.
• Food Handler Basics Certificate is essential.
• Uniform: Steel cap Boots and black trousers (required).
• Ability to work safely in a busy, physically active role.
• Understanding of food safety, safe manual handling and chemical handling.

Responsabilités

• Operate commercial dishwashers and clean crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, hygienic and organised.
• Safely store clean equipment and prepare items for functions and events.
• Support chefs with general kitchen duties.
• Follow food safety, chemical handling and workplace safety procedures.

Shifts available

• Morning shifts: Start between 6:00am and 8:00am.


• Afternoon shifts: Start in the afternoon and finish no later than midnight.

What you’ll do
