Challenger Services Group in Sydney CBD is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support a busy hotel kitchen, keep dishwashing running smoothly, and assist chefs and the wider team in delivering guests a great experience.

This full-time role offers morning or afternoon shifts, on-site work, a Food Handler Basics Certificate, and training in kitchen safety, HACCP, and safe handling. A reliable, team-focused approach is essential.

Formación

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, kitchen hand or stewarding role.
• Food Handler Basics Certificate—essential.
• Uniform: Steel cap Boots and blakc trousers (required).
• Willingness to help your team and work safely in a busy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Operating commercial dishwashers and cleaning crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, hygienic and organised.
• Safely storing clean equipment and preparing items for functions and events.
• Supporting chefs with general kitchen duties.
• Following food safety, chemical handling and workplace safety procedures.

Shifts available

• Morning shifts: Start between 6:00am and 8:00am.
• Afternoon shifts: Start in the afternoon and finish no later than midnight.
