You will prepare meals, assist with daily kitchen operations, maintain high hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to a welcoming, safe environment for staff and guests.

Qualifications

• A paid WWCC is required.
• Previous experience in kitchen, cooking, hospitality or similar environment.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals while adhering to food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Assist with food preparation, meal service and day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Wash and clean dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen, dining and food preparation areas.
• Follow all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and requirements.
• Assist with stock rotation and keeping kitchen supplies organised.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and store them properly.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
• Help maintain a welcoming, safe and positive environment for all.
