Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Kitchen Hand and Cook for a Bathurst-based role. You will prepare meals, support daily kitchen operations and keep shared spaces clean to a high standard.

The position requires a paid WWCC and prior experience in kitchen, hospitality or a related field, with a strong emphasis on food safety and teamwork. You will work in a fast-paced environment, both collaboratively and independently.

Qualifications

• A paid WWCC is required.
• Experience in kitchen, cooking, hospitality or similar.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals while following food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Assist with food preparation, meal service and day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Wash and clean dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen, dining and prep areas.
• Follow Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
• Assist with stock rotation and keep kitchen supplies organised.
• Use cleaning products safely and store them properly.
• Work well in a team and independently when needed.
• Contribute to a welcoming, safe and positive environment.
