Job summary

Paradise Resort Gold Coast is seeking a Full-time Kitchen Hand to support our busy resort kitchen. You will assist with dishwashing, basic food prep and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Kitchen Hand or Kitchen Steward experience desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a hands-on role.
• Strong cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail.
• Able to work autonomously and with a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating rosters including evenings and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.

About the role

Join our Kitchen team as a Full-time Kitchen Hand, supporting our chefs and wider Kitchen team to keep our busy resort kitchen running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with dishwashing, cleaning, basic food preparation and maintaining clean and organised work areas. You'll work as part of an experienced kitchen team and help maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness throughout each shift.

This role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking and enjoys practical work in a fast-paced team environment.

Duties

• Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation as required

• Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately

Skills & experience
